About MyNews

MyNews brings news from registered newspapers, online outlets and TV channels — first from your own country — into one place, and arranges it around your interests. Every reader's home page is different.

Our principles

• Personalization, not persuasion. We rank news for relevance, freshness, source quality, diversity and transparency — never to push anyone towards a political view.
• Preference ≠ truth. Which party's news you read more never decides whether a claim is true or false. Every story shows its original source, publication time and other coverage of the same story.
• No closed bubble. One section of your home page is always “Other Perspectives” — a different view on the topics you follow — and part of every feed comes from beyond your usual topics.
• Transparency. Tap “Why am I seeing this?” on any story to see the reason.
• Respect for publishers. We show only headlines, short excerpts, metadata and links. We never copy full articles, download or re-upload videos, or remove logos and watermarks.
• Original language. News is always shown in the language the publisher used. Changing the MyNews interface language never translates the news.

Verifying outlets

Our team manually verifies every outlet and its Facebook/YouTube accounts — including registration details — before switching it on. No page or channel is assumed to be registered automatically.
