Does MyNews see my Google search or YouTube history?
No. From Google sign-in we only receive your name, email and profile photo. Personalization uses the topics you choose and what you read and watch inside MyNews.
Why is my home page different from other people's?
Your top 5 stories, 10 recommended stories and 5 “Other Perspectives” stories are chosen from your interests and reading activity.
What are “Other Perspectives”?
Stories on the subjects you read most, but showing a different view, another side, or an outlet you rarely read. It does not mean your usual news is wrong or that these are right.
I changed the language but the news is still in Bangla
That's intentional. The language setting changes only the MyNews interface. News always appears in the language the publisher used, so nothing is lost or distorted in translation.
How do I see fewer stories of a certain kind?
Tap “Not interested” (the crossed-out eye) next to a story, or change your interests in Settings.
How do I turn personalization off?
Settings → turn off “Learn from what I read”. You can also clear your reading history.
What if I spot a mistake in a story?
Tap “Report” on the story page. Our team will check it against the publisher's corrections and updates.
How can an outlet be added?
Send the outlet's name, website and registration details to the address below. It will be added after verification.
